As you navigate your Workspace's Members page, you may notice a significant number of multi-board guests. These users were previously free in older versions of Business Class but have since become paid members of Workspaces. This shift may cause some inconvenience, which is why we're offering existing smart billing credits for up to one year and discounts for a year.

To simplify our supported plans, we've revamped the Premium plan to provide all customers with the same features and payment model. Over time, Trello has released newer versions of Business Class with additional features, making your current plan an older version. This is why you received a notification to upgrade or change to Premium.

We're also aligning our editions' names with the rest of Atlassian, renaming Business Class to Premium. This change affects only the name and not the price or feature set. To start a free trial of Premium, visit . We currently don't offer a free trial for Standard but you can trial Premium for 14 days without entering credit card information.

What's Changing with Trello's Pricing Update?

As we tie plans to Workspaces instead of individual accounts, we're sunsetting Trello Gold. In its place, we've introduced Standard, a lower-priced tier that includes unlimited boards, Custom Fields, and advanced checklists. We've also made previously paid features available for free to all users, including access to unlimited Power-Ups, custom board backgrounds, and more.

On August 24, 2021, we announced new ways to make it easier for teams of all sizes to get the most out of Trello and find a plan that suits their needs. With this update, you'll enjoy the same features as Premium users, with unlimited automated command runs per Workspace.
